Here are three examples of team and player prop bets for a Lions game against the Chicago Bears:

Player Field Goals: The Lions kicker to make at least three field goals in the game. Or you could bet on the kicker to have two or fewer field goals in the game.

Overtime: Want to place a bet with longer odds? Bet on the game going to overtime at +1000 odds. If Detroit and Chicago play overtime, a $5 wager would return $55 (including stake).

There’s never a break in NBA betting at the sportsbook. From game odds like spreads and moneylines to offseason futures like over/under win totals and player awards, there are dozens of different options for all teams, including the Detroit Pistons.

Here’s an example of Pistons odds for a home game against the Washington Wizards:

Spread: Pistons -6.5 (-110), Wizards +6.5 (-110)

Moneyline: Pistons -180, Wizards +140

Total: 220.5 (Under: -110, Over: -110)

If you bet on the Pistons spread (-6.5), they have to win the game by at least seven points. If you bet on the Wizards spread (+6.5), they have to lose by six or fewer points (or win the game).

If you bet on the Pistons moneyline (-180), they have to win the game. If you bet on the Wizards moneyline (+140), they have to win the game.

If you bet under 220.5, the two teams must combine for 220 or fewer points. If you bet over 220.5, the two teams must combine for at least 221 points.

Other popular bets include props, NRFI/YRFI odds, and First 5 Innings bets.

For NRFI/YRFI bets, you’re betting either the two teams combine for zero first-inning runs (NRFI, or no runs first inning) or at least one first-inning run (YRFI, or yes runs first inning). And some First 5 Innings bets might include a run line or over/under total for just the first five innings of a game.

Prop bets could include total hits for one player, if one player will hit a home run, or if either team will record a shutout.

Puck lines, moneylines, over/under totals, and more types of bets are available for every Detroit Red Wings game from the preseason through the postseason.

The puck line is hockey’s version of the spread. Here’s an example for a Red Wings road game against the Chicago Blackhawks:

Puck Line: Red Wings -1.5 (+150), Blackhawks +1.5 (-125)

The Red Wings must win the game by at least two goals for their puck-line bet to cash. The Blackhawks must lose the game by one goal (or win the game) for their puck-line bet to cash.

You can also bet on futures odds for the Red Wings and every other NHL team. Futures include odds for the Stanley Cup champion, Western Conference champion, and Vezina Trophy (best goaltender).
